Framing & Finish Carpenter
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Finish Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in carpentry and construction, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality finishes in residential projects. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can read blueprints and schematics, ensuring that all work meets the specified standards. The Finish Carpenter will be responsible for various tasks that involve both interior and exterior finishing work.
Responsibilities:
• Execute finish carpentry tasks including trim carpentry, cabinetry installation, and custom woodworking.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine project specifications.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople on-site to ensure seamless project completion.
• Conduct heavy lifting and operate power tools safely and efficiently.
• Assist in the restoration, remodeling, and renovation of existing structures.
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards and building codes.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout the project duration.
Skills:
• Proficient in carpentry techniques including frame carpentry, trim carpentry, and woodworking.
• Familiarity with construction management principles and construction site experience.
• Strong skills in using hand tools and power tools effectively.
• Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to quality craftsmanship.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by job duties.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.
