Franchise Sales Assistant

Job Purpose:

BTIG seeks an Analyst to join the Franchise Sales team in our New York office. The Analyst will aid in building the mindshare, content, institutional and corporate relationships. The candidate will be communicating and interfacing with a number of institutional clients and management teams. This is a highly visible role with an opportunity to interface with internal leadership teams and external clients.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for multiple daily content pieces that are distributed to institutional and corporate clients
• Assist in putting together and managing corporate access events, including bus tours, conferences, KOL events, mgmt. roadshows, etc.
• Work closely with research analysts to understand BTIG healthcare research product
• Assist in coverage of dedicated hedge funds, specialty finance and mutual funds
• Partner with investment banking and ECM teams
• Conduct due diligence on companies’ value propositions for client pitch books and marketing materials

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or related industry 
• 1+ years of relevant internship and/or work experience preferred
• An understanding or previous experience working within the financial services industry
• Demonstrate drive and possess a positive, personable, self-starter attitude
• Must have excellent communication, research, writing, and organizational skills with the ability to multi-task while being highly detail oriented
• Must display aptitude to get up the learning curve and be proactive about learning new concepts
• Basic understanding of financial modeling
• Strong client service mentality
