The Fraud Team at Grubhub manages the delicate balance between fraud risk management against customer experience and sales, through the use of advanced systems, data and processes; while engaging closely with various business partners across and outside the organization.
We are looking for an intellectual, curious, analytical individual as a Analyst II, Fraud Strategy, who will help drive and manage multiple opportunities to build better fraud prevention and detection controls across various products.
To succeed in this role, you must be eager to learn independently and through ambiguity, understand general technology and data analytics, able to manage projects, able to communicate effectively and have a results/metrics-driven mindset.

The Impact You Will Make:
- Assess the fraud risks and controls, to help identify gaps to help prioritization of projects
- Find and address the latest and largest fraud trends, through investigation, hypothesis, analysis and testing
- Work cross-functionally on fraud related projects, while partnering with Finance, Technology, Product, Procurement, Marketing, Logistics, Care, Restaurant, Legal, PR, Security and other teams
- Use data and statistical techniques to identify fraud patterns, and solutions for those
What You Bring To The Table:
- Bachelor's degree (OR related work experience) in a quantitative discipline
- 3-5 years of experience in a fraud, risk, payments, analytics or statistical role
- Project management skills related to cost-benefit-effort assessment, prioritization, documentation, follow-through and executive presentation
- Analytical skills with an ability to investigate, summarize, and communicate important learnings from data
- Basic understanding of fraud vectors, strategies, tools and infrastructure in a high transaction volume digital environment
- Experience working cross functionally, engaging with other groups like engineers, product managers, data analysts, operations analysts
- Technical skills : SQL, statistical tools, data visualization tools, Google/Microsoft office suite
