Credit Karma depends upon our users' trust. We earn and maintain that trust by demonstrating our commitment to safeguarding their information. The CK Money Risk and Payments team has the critical responsibility of protecting Credit Karma's members by securing our online processes and preventing online fraud and abuse throughout the Credit Karma product suite.
What you'll do:
- Leads implementation of strategic initiatives by partnering with various internal and external stakeholders as required; complexity of initiatives may vary and usually involve multiple stakeholders across the enterprise to develop, maintain and mature our fraud operating procedures and processes
- Drives improvement and change across multiple teams and defines new fraud detection techniques and processes. Documents and engages appropriate partners to train analyst staff on new processes.
- Provides direction and guidance to Fraud Operations to improve performance, partnering cross functionally to remove roadblocks as well as leads initiatives with key business partners to improve member experience.
- Utilizes spreadsheet (Excel or Google Sheets) proficiency, advanced SQL, and Python skills for the creation and management of risk/opportunity data sets
- Ability to create, manipulate and maintain data sets to support recommendations for efficiencies and/or improvement in risk identification
What we are looking for:
- 2+ years of experience with SQL and Python skills to manage data
- 5+ years experience in a Fraud Operations role at a regulated financial institution
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical work experience

- Demonstrates ability to manage multiple projects with minimal guidanceÂ
- Builds effective relationships with internal/external stakeholders.
- Strong knowledge of the fraud management life cycle and industry trends.
- Problem solving mindset for building fraud solutions across multiple disciplines
