Freelance Graphic Designer

Tommy John is a comfort-focused lifestyle brand committed to solving the problem people have with their clothing. Most well-known for reimagining the fabric, fit, and function of underwear and undershirts, Tommy John has spent the past decade making the online and in-store shopping experience more comfortable. We are constantly on a mission to add smart, innovative, and proactive team members and are looking for a NYC based Freelance Graphic Designer to support our team as we head into our busiest season. 

Responsibilities:

• Immediate need is for Graphic Design support on CRM/Email campaigns
• Future need in supporting on packaging by applying existing designs across mechanicals already created
• Revises projects as necessary based on collaborative feedback process
• Consults with Creative Team members as needed on complex or specialized projects
• Works with Creative Operations to prioritize daily and weekly workload

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or related field 
• 2-5 years of experience in Graphic Design role, preferably working with a similar DTC/E-Commerce Apparel brand in either a freelance or in-house capacity
• High level of proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, After Effects, Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop) a must
• Demonstrated alignment with Tommy John's Core Values: Humble, Adaptable, Mindful, GSD 2.0, & Curious
• Exceptional eye and creative taste with the ability to mirror & elevate Tommy John’s premium design ethos
• Strong preference for someone who can be in our downtown NYC office 2-4 days per week to meet and collaborate with cross functional teams 
• Passionate about digitally led graphic design
• Ability to work at a fast pace on varied creative projects 
• Highly organized with effective time management skills

Targeted Hourly Rate: $40-$45/hr
