Freelance Project Manager, Client Services

About this role: 

We are seeking a skilled Freelance Project Manager to support our Client Services Team and ensure the successful execution of projects for our valued clients. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire project lifecycle, from initiation to delivery, ensuring deadlines are met, budgets are adhered to, and client expectations are exceeded. Your ability to communicate effectively, manage resources, and navigate complex projects will be crucial to your success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Initiation:

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define project scopes, objectives, and deliverables.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, outlining tasks, timelines, resources, and dependencies.
• Create project schedules and allocate resources effectively to ensure timely project delivery.

Resource Allocation and Management:

• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to retrieve the necessary resources, including production, creative, and other relevant teams.
• Monitor team workloads and adjust assignments as necessary to maintain project momentum.

Risk Management:

• Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Proactively address issues that may arise during the project lifecycle to prevent delays or setbacks.

Communication:

• Serve as the primary point of contact amongst internal teams, providing regular project updates and managing expectations.
• Host daily meetings for status updates and ensuring deliverables are met on time 
• Facilitate clear and concise communication among team members, ensuring everyone is aligned with project goals.

Budget and Cost Control:

• Monitor project budgets, ensuring that expenses are within approved limits.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and propose efficient solutions without compromising project quality.

Documentation:

• Operate and efficiently manage projects within AirTable
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and communication logs.
• Compile project-related data for reporting and analysis within AirTable.

What you will bring:

• Proven experience as a Project Manager in a client services or agency setting.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in the project management software, AirTable 
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Problem-solving skills and the capacity to navigate complex project challenges.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (preferred).
• Project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, with a focus on client services and project delivery.

Contract Terms:

• This is a freelance position with an expected commitment of 40 hours per week starting at three months.

Freelance Rate: $8,000 to $10,000/month based on experience
