Freelance Video Editor (Project to Project basis)

The role:

We’re on the lookout for a talented video and motion graphics individual to assist us on a project-to-project basis with our portfolio of beauty brands. We’re looking for someone who is passionate in creating eye/thumb stopping content and help our brands on the journey to become more social-first!

Please note this is a freelance position and will be project to project work not guaranteed set weekly days. 

What you will do:

• Respond to briefs with creative solutions and craft visually stunning videos that captivates and engages.
• Become the go-to for video needs for Kao’s Consumer Care Brands.
• Adapt existing content for multiple countries worldwide.
• Design for a diverse range of touchpoints, from digital video-screens to social media, broadcast advertising and internal or external communications.
• Excellent knowledge & understanding of Adobe Premier Pro and After Effects.

What you will need:

• 5+ years’ experience in video editing and retouching.
• Demonstrated experience in content creation skills, including filming and video editing, supported by a diverse portfolio (including long-form and short-form content).
• Must have experience in colour-grading footage.
• In-depth understanding of various social media platforms and content preferences.
• Exceptional storytelling and visual composition abilities.
• Capability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team, in a fast-paced, reactive environment.
• A strong passion for social media and a commitment to staying ahead of digital trends.
• Passion for the beauty industry.
• Nice to have: Strong copywriting skills.
• Track record of scroll-stopping social first campaigns/assets.
• Work to design guidelines whilst upholding the brands creative direction.
• Meticulous attention to detail.
• A creative mind-set and the drive to bring to life different creative ideas.
• Excellent organisational & filing skills of creative work & working files.
• Can-do attitude to challenging requests and provide creative solutions.
