Job Description

As a Sports Content Reviewer, you will be responsible for:
Reviewing and editing content provided from partners to match the style guide and users’ expectations
Helping define editorial direction and compelling visual experience for current sporting events
Verifying accuracy of content and be proactive in strategic coverage planning
Helping validate partner data accuracy


Job Details
Position:Β Sports Content Reviewer
Location: Remote in the US
Rate: $33/hr
Schedule:
Regular business hours 9.00-5.00 PST for the first 1,5 months, after that schedule can be flexible.
Longevity: 12 months with a possible extension
Start Date: ASAP

Key Qualifications

  • Native-fluency level in French
  • Native or near-native fluency in English
  • Significant knowledge of popular US and International sports
  • Knowledgeable and passionate about sports teams, sports statistics & facts, and sports personalities
  • Strong research skills, ability to discern between reliable and unreliable sources
  • Genuine interest in seeking out finer details about sports: teams, players, sports facts, and tournaments/leagues updates
  • Previous experience with CMS (Content Management System) tool, a plus
  • Strong writing and grammar, as well as previous experience in writing (particularly sports writing) and editing, a plus
  • Localization or translation experience, a plus
  • Design and photography experience a plus
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to handle repetitive tasks.
