Job Description

Eataly Dallas’ Fresh Island features a variety of high-quality local and Italian products: delicious cheeses and cured meats, sustainably caught seafood, homemade pasta and carefully prepared meals. An Aritsan provides outstanding guest service across the entire Fresh Island. Reports to the Salumi & Formaggi Manager and the Fresh Market Manager. 

• Assists the retail counters with daily operations as needed to ensure counters are running smoothly
• Ensures retail supplies are in stock and being utilized properly at all stations
• Stocks counter and display refrigerators neatly, accurately and in a timely manner
• Slices, weighs, labels, displays, sells and packages products per department standards and guest specifications
• Manages transfers between departments to ensure accurate inventory levels and Cost of Goods Sold (COGS)
• Provides a steady presence on the floor, constantly interacting with guests, employees, vendors and visitors
• Performs other duties as required or assigned

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in food service
• Strong knowledge of steps of service
• Great communication and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of Italian products

Job Requirements

• Availability to work onsite with a flexible schedule sometimes including evenings, weekends and holidays
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours, including standing, walking, bending and squatting
