Front Desk Coordinator
Job Description
Location: Dr. Terry Pieper, Southport, NC
Positon: Front Desk Coordinator
General Duties (not inclusive):
- Answer multiple phone lines, refer messages to appropriate staff member
- Fax/Mail/Email documents in-bound and out-bound
- Patient registration, check-in, insurance verification, demographics, forms, prepare patient for office visit, maintain optimal flow
- Patient appointment scheduling/organization of facility schedule
- Check-out, collect copay, deductible and outstanding balances
- Process medical record requests in-bound and out-bound
- Manage paper charts as needed
- Assist physician/office staff as requested
- Other miscellaneous duties
What We Are Looking For:
- Computer/EMR/technology experienced and knowledgeable
- Knowledgeable of HIPAA Privacy Rules, medical office ethics
- Familiar with basic medical office administration and procedures.
- Experience with MS Office documents and Excel spreadsheets
- Job Type: Full-time
- Expected hours: No more than 40 per week.
- Benefits: Paid time off
