THE POSITION

Continental, recognized in Forbes Top 100 "America's Best Employers" List, is looking for a highly skilled FrontEnd developer to implement the Tire division's next-generation National Account Retailer and Fleet Program imitative.
As the frontend developer, you will support the further development of Continental Tire's National Account Retailer and Fleet Program and be responsible for the design, creation, and testing of Angular web and mobile [Android/IOS] components. You will collaborate with SCRUM teams of solutions architects back Java back end development teams along with, data engineers in the Americas, Europe, and Asia. Additionally, there will be integration/visualizations with systems that provide digitalization in the areas of Connected Vehicle and Tire Monitoring for Passenger, Commercial, and Specialty (agriculture and mining) tire products and services.
Responsibilities:• Responsibility for the concept, prototype, technical design, and development of UI web and mobile components based on business requirements. • Collaboration with business partners to analyze user requirements and business objectives to determine application features and functionality.• Participate in all aspects of the Agile software development lifecycle• Ability to facilitate a highly productive and collaborative work environment.
o Collaboration with back-end team members for the development of restful APIs.
o Collaboration with global team members in Europe and Malaysia.• Aligning application design with business goals• Responsibility for the development of test code/test scenarios ensuring high quality. • Post roll-out, provide production support for a global web application.• Ability to efficiently debug and resolve technical issues.• Compile technical documentation and user assistance material, requiring excellent written communication.• Ensure continuous professional self-development.• Follow Scrum/Agile methodologies to organize and plan projects.• Embrace Continental's core values: Trust, freedom to act, passion to win, for one another

Job Requirements

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelors Degree + 2 years' of professional experience, or 5+ years of professional experience• Experience with Angular 2+ Framework of experience.• Experience with HTML5• Experience with one or more of the following languages and technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular• Experience with web service integration (REST, SOAP, JSON, XML).• Ability to communicate effectively with software development team members.• Exposure to BDD [Behavior Driven Development] / Test Driven development paradigms.• Analytical mindset and good problem-solving skills.• Excellent written and verbal communication.• Good organizational skills.• Able to work with minimal supervision.• Legal Authorization to work in the US is required. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelors Degree + 5 years' of professional experience• Professional IT Certification, preferred.• BA or higher degree, ideally in Computer Science or related field.
