Here, within the Agile Operations Division (AOD) of Broadcom, together - we are evolving how we work and how our customers use our software. We are creating software to deliver on these business needs by iterating quickly, continuously testing ideas and solutions with customers, and delivering software that customers want.
We think that radically transforming the way software is built and delivered is pretty exciting, and we're looking for a front-end engineer who wants to join the fun.
Responsibilities
- Collaborating with a multi-functional team to define work that will meet organizational objectives.
- Building modern, consistent, intuitive and innovative experiences.
- Experimenting with new front-end technologies that improve our software.
- Contributing to team and organizational best practices.
- Driving best practices for UI engineering across the organization.
- Enhancing our design system.
- Working closely with design, product management, and development teams to create elegant, usable, responsive and interactive interfaces across multiple devices.
- Turning UI/UX designs into prototypes, creating awesome interactions from designs, writing reusable content modules and maintainability of code.
- Implementing UI development principles to ensure that the product client-side serves at scale

Qualifications
- Experience - Bachelor's and at least 8+ years of experience in UI Development.
- Strong expertise with HTML, CSS, Javascript, and writing cross-browser compatible code.
- CSS preprocessor experience (SASS or LESS), Responsive design, Accessibility.
- Good understanding of AJAX and JavaScript DOM manipulation techniques.
- Expert in any one of the modern JavaScript MV-VM/MVC frameworks -
- AngularJS, Angular, JQuery, React.
- Working knowledge of Java programming.
- Experience with RESTful services.
- Experience in JavaScript build tools like grunt or gulp.
- Experience with testing frameworks - Jasmine, Protractor.
- Hand on and implements complex AngularJS applications, directives, controllers, services.
Good to Have Skills
- Clarity front-end experience - preferred.
- Git/GitHub, Continuous integration using maven & Jenkins.
- Experience with Continuous Integration tools like Jenkins and Teamcity.
- Excellent Analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication both oral and written.
- Experience with scripting languages - Shell, Perl, Ruby, Python.
- Working experience with Agile Methodologies.
- Development experience in Java.

Compensation and Benefits
The annual base salary range for this position is $106,800 - $178,000.
This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in accordance with relevant plan documents, and equity in accordance with equity plan documents and equity award agreements.
