Job Overview:
As a Front-End Engineer at Volcon ePowersports, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the user interface and experience of our website. You will work closely with our design and brand teams to deliver visually appealing and responsive user interfaces, ensuring seamless interactions and high performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with marketing and designers to translate wireframes and mockups into a functional website.
Develop, test, and maintain user interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Implement responsive web design principles to ensure a consistent user experience across various devices and screen sizes.
Optimize front-end code for maximum performance and efficiency.
Troubleshoot and debug issues, ensuring the highest level of quality and reliability.
Stay up-to-date with the latest front-end technologies, trends, and best practices to continuously improve our website.
Take ownership of projects and demonstrate a commitment to meeting project deadlines and goals.
Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment, sharing knowledge and providing mentorship when needed.

Key Technologies/Skills:
Next.js*: Frontend React framework.
Git*: Version control.
Node.js: Backend runtime environment.
PHP: Scripting language (Optional, but useful in some contexts).
React: Frontend library for UI components.
TailwindCSS*: Utility-first CSS framework.
Express: Web server framework for Node.js.
GSAP: Animation library for web.
Liquid: Shopify's templating language.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
Proven experience as a Front-End Developer or similar role.
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with a strong understanding of modern front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
Knowledge of responsive web design and mobile-first development.
Familiarity with web development tools, version control systems, and build processes (e.g., Git, Webpack).
Experience with testing and debugging techniques.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to adapt to rapidly changing technology and work in a fast-paced environment.
Understanding of cross-browser compatibility and web performance optimization.
Knowledge of web accessibility standards (WCAG) is a plus.
Experience with RESTful API integration is a plus.
