Role Mission: 

The LeagueApps team is seeking an experienced Front End Engineer to help us launch a new suite of web applications for Registration. The Registration Team owns the end-to-end experience of creating and setting up programs for an Organization, for parents, players and coaches to register.

What You’ll Do:

• Work with Product Management and other stakeholders (Backend, UX, etc.) to iterate on new features.
• Craft code that meets our internal standards for style, maintainability, and best practices for a high-scale web environment. Maintain and advocate for these standards through code review.
• Consistently ship small features and improvements with minimal guidance and support from other team members. Collaborate with the team on larger projects.
• Help improve the overall experience of our product through improving the quality of the front-end features, both in your domain and features that benefit other groups.
• Fix prioritized issues and provide troubleshooting and escalated technical support to production features that involve UI / front-end.
• Develop test cases for cross-browser testing and assist in the QA Engineering process.

Who You Are:

• An experienced Engineer with React or other modern JavaScript web framework (Angular, Ember, etc)
• Experience with writing automated tests (eg. Jest, Karma, Jasmine, Mocha, AVA, tape)
• A solid understanding of semantic HTML, CSS, and core JavaScript concepts
• A clear communicator with capacity to concisely communicate complex technical, architectural, and/or organizational problems and propose thorough iterative solutions
• A problem solver with a demonstrated ability to both diagnose and prevent performance and optimization issues
