Front End Engineer - SDE2

Who are we looking for? 

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Frontend Engineer (SDE – 2) to join our distributed team. You will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining high-performance, scalable and user-friendly interfaces. This role involves collaborating closely with other engineers, product managers and other stakeholders to ensure that our product meets high standards of quality and functionality. 

You will be responsible for 

• Developing new user-facing features using React JS, Chakra UI, ensuring a smoother user experience. 

• Building reusable components & optimizing them for better maintainability and performance. 

• Writing clear, maintainable, and testable code. 

• Take ownership of the front-end architecture and drive improvements in performance, scalability, and code quality. 

• Collaborating with UI/UX designers & translating designs and wireframes into high quality, and efficient code with a focus onand improving usability and design. 

• Working with product managers and internal stakeholders of the company to understand the customer requirements, break down complex problems into smaller tasks and milestones, and ensuring timely delivery of these milestones by maintaining high quality standards. 

Requirements 

• 3+ years of experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript 

• Strong expertise in ReactJS, Typescript, Chakra UI, Jest and a deep understanding of modern front-end technologies. 

• Passion for user experience, and design and an understanding of front-end architecture.  

• Motivated to deliver value to the customerby delivering customer values. 

• Ability to understand and address real customer needs. 

• Prioritizes understanding the problem to create effective solutions, rather than jumping to conclusions. 

• Works iteratively, delivering small, impactful updates, and optimizing for speed on reversible decisions. 

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a distributed team environment. 

• Knowledge and passion for current trends and best practices in front-end architecture.
