The Role

We are looking for a highly skilled senior developer with 7+ years of full-stack development, with an emphasis on the front end. Full stack developers are responsible for developing and designing web architecture, ensuring the responsiveness of applications, and working alongside graphic designers for web design features, among other duties.

Full-stack developers will be required to see out a project from conception to final product, requiring good organizational skills and attention to detail. While you will be required to work across the tech stack, you will be primarily responsible for the client side of the application which is a React SPA currently.

This is a 12-month contract role. If you are a proactive and flexible leader who is unafraid of navigating a fast-paced environment and can make sense of incoming information quickly while driving projects forward, we want to talk to you.

Responsibilities

• Developing front-end website architecture.
• Designing user interactions on web pages.
• Developing back-end website applications.
• Creating servers and databases for functionality.
• Ensuring cross-platform optimization for mobile phones.
• Ensuring responsiveness of applications.
• Working alongside graphic designers for web design features.
• Seeing through a project from conception to finished product.
• Designing and developing APIs.
• Meeting both technical and consumer needs.
• Staying abreast of developments in Cyber Security. 

Preferred Experience

• Javascript/Typescript
• React
• NextJS, Node
• SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL)
• Modern framework usage (Next.js, Gatsby, etc.)
• DevOps and CI/CD experience
• Cross-platform development (Flutter, Ionic, React Native)
• SPA frameworks (Vue, Ember, Angular)
• InfoSec best practices (OWASP)
• Experience with client testing frameworks (Playright, Jest, Cypress, Jasmine, etc.)
• Experience working in an early-stage startup
• Experience working with GCP
