Overview of the role:

We have an exciting new role in our Front-End Game Development team. We are looking for teammates who are passionate and willing to learn to create games in probably the most productive workflow in the known universe.

You’ll be joining a team of happy and long-serving people. All very receptive and willing to help out and be there for one another. The team consists of 12 people sharing a passion for casino games and devoted to excellent player experience. You’ll be reporting directly to the Front-End Game Development Manager.

Working together with the rest of the team you’ll be setting up the games’ graphics skeleton (graphic designs are provided by our marvellous Creative team), coding it to life and assisting our star sound designers in completing the show by making it not only visually, but also audibly spectacular.

What you’ll do:

We’re using Adobe Animate and Spine 2D to set up our graphics skeleton and scene and character animations and the Haxe programming language as a basis for our in-house scenario building DSL (domain-specific language). Depending on your background your work will either have an emphasis on the visual side – creating the structure, transitions and visual effects of the game, setting it up for coding, or receiving mentioned assets and coding them to life. Ultimately, you’ll get the chance to develop both skill-sets, and over time be able to combine them, becoming a versatile Front-End Game Developer.

What you’ll bring:

There are two tracks you can enter the role on – visual and coding track. You’ll bring in experience in Adobe Animate, Spine 2D or any other animation software, or programming experience in one or more modern programming languages – JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, Haxe etc.
