About the Point72 Compliance Product Development team

As Point72 reimagines the future of regulatory technology, our Compliance Product Development team is responsible for delivering best-in-class compliance and surveillance tools in support of our Firm’s holistic surveillance program. Our work involves evaluating a broad range of technologies, doing custom development, and integrating with multiple upstream and downstream data sources and systems. As a Front-End Software Engineer on the Compliance Product Development team at Point72, you will

• Build, optimize, and maintain front-end web application
• Write robust, highly tested, well-crafted code
• Use web technologies to build rich interfaces usually reserved for full desktop applications
• Participate in application design and architecture reviews
• Participate in a highly agile, iterative software development process
• Collaborate closely with business and engineering stakeholders to maintain a high bar for quality in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

What we’re looking for

• A bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, computer science, engineering, information technology, or relevant field
• 3+ years of demonstrated experience working with Angular Framework in a SaaS environment
• Experience using Reactive technologies RXJS/NGRX is a must
• Proficiency in Typescript, HTML and SCSS/CSS
• Experience consuming and understanding Rest APIs and Websockets services
• The ability to write self-contained, reusable, and testable modules and component whenever possible
• The ability to understand and write valid unit tests in Jasmine/Jest or any other modern testing framework

The annual base salary range for this role is $150,000-$200,000, which does not include discretionary bonus compensation or our comprehensive benefits package. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things.
