Front-end/UI Architect

Alianza is looking for an experienced Front-end/UI Architect who is knowledgeable of modern UI architectural principles and practices. The candidate will also have a deep knowledge and understanding of UI technologies across mobile, desktop, and web applications. The UI Architect makes technology decisions that balance the user experience with the application's ease of development, support, and testability. The UI Architect is the primary evangelist of the UI architectural vision and best practices to the development organization.

Responsibilities
• Develop and promote the Front-end/UI Architectural vison
• Design front-end architecture with architectural guidelines in mind (secure, high-performing, scalable, extensible, flexible, simple).
• In collaboration with the Chief Architect discuss, formulate, and document a vision, practices, and principles for Frontend architecture and approaches in all Alianza software products.
• Evangelize the UI Architectural vision, strategy, and outcomes, and train engineers and teams on best practices
• Define the architectural vision for the web management portal framework
• Collaborate with various cross functional teams like design, product management, backend architects, and development teams to validate prototypes and to create elegant, usable, responsive, and interactive interfaces which meet and exceed customer expectations.
• Run the UI chapter and ensure participants understand the vision and strategies, and work with them to implement best practices int the organization and on their teams

Requirements

A technical degree from a reputable University (CS preferably or STEM) or equivalent years of experience
• 5+ years of experience as a UI Architect
• Deep knowledge of UI technologies used in the Mobile, Desktop, and Web domains.
• Strong hands-on experience on Angular JS, React.js, MVC, JQuery & related JS Frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, responsive design, single page applications.
• Build a highly scalable product right from scratch.
• Expertise in caching, minification, bundling techniques to improve front end performance.
• Strong writing and oral communication skills
• Ability to deep study and evaluate technologies and come to the best architect that balances tradeoffs and solves for the short and long term
• Detail-oriented
