Frontend Developer

Introduction
As a Front-End Software Developer you will be responsible for designing and developing components and features
for watsonx.ai and would be involved in designing developing
and discussing product delivery & strategy.

As a successful individual for this role:
– you should be an avid coder who can get his hands dirty and be involved in the coding to the deepest level
– you will work with other developers in the dev team to maintain and improve code base
– you will work in an Agile environment of continuous deliverable
– you will learn directly from senior members/leaders in this field.

Your Role and Responsibilities

• Developing a viable solution in the Data Science area
• Taking the UI designs from UX Designer and developing interfaces based on them
• Coming up with creative ideas as appropriate to improve usability
• Developing microservices to generate User Interfaces and API based Product capabilities

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• 3+ years of experience in User Interface development with focus on React Javascript microservices architecture and design
• Proficiency in JavaScript programming language
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and SCM systems (Github).
• Experience using open source libraries like D3
• Ability to prepare simple mock-ups
• Ability to write simple unit test cases and develop automation for them
• Good collaboration clear communication skills

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Ability to come up with creative ideas and coordinate with Designers
• Ability to develop simple Docker images deploying an managing them for microservices/APIs in k8s architecture
• Ability to lead team
