Frontend Developer

Our Amsterdam Backoffice Development team creates scalable business-critical applications, tools and automated tasks to support IMC's Amsterdam, London, Zug and Mumbai's Mid-Office and Compliance teams.
Your Core Responsibilities
As a Front-end Developer at IMC, you will build and maintain beautiful responsive applications to support critical decision-making in a highly complex and fast-paced environment.
Ensuring our employees have easy and intuitive access to that data, in an actionable way, is vital to our success. You will be designing and building user-friendly solutions that allow us to constantly monitor our performance and the state of the market and help us make better and faster decisions than our competitors. Your responsibilities will include:

• Designing and building bespoke data vizualization and analytics dashboards and market surveillance tools for IMC's Mid-Office and Compliance teams and Leadership.
• Designing and building fully responsive web applications for our Business Support teams from scratch as well as adding features and maintaining existing applications.
• Creating smooth, modern and future-proof front-ends for a wide range of our proprietary systems and applications
• As a part of IMC's Front-end Tribe you will contribute to defining and developing our Front-end technology stack with React at its core.

Your Skills and Experience

• 3+ years of experience developing front-end applications with REACT or equivalent framework
• Experience with TypeScript
• Curiosity for backend technologies such as Python, Hadoop, PostgreSQL is a plus
• Experience with end-to-end testing
• Experience with UX/UI design and a passion for user friendly and intuitive interfaces that are empathetic to users needs
• Some experience with Data Vizualization
• Interest and curiosity in finance or economics
