Frontend Developer (FirstSpirit)

About the project:

In Cross Channel Services we are delivering cross-functional services for implementations in online banking platform of Commerzbank to ensure stable and highly available online banking. In your role as a Frontend Developer, you will be a part of the Internet cell, which ensures the stable operation and further development of the Group-wide Content Management System (FirstSpirit) including corporate website, Customer portal and Intranet-Portals. FirstSpirit manages content for web pages and other output channels in the form of page containers, which can include additional structured content containers.

You will be responsible for: 

• Analysis and correction of defects/incidents
• Template development (HTML, XML, JSP, Typescript, CSS, JavaScript, Angular, React)
• Implementation of functional extensions in CMS
• Check the tray requirement
• Creation and QA of documentation and changes
• Design and create deployment and authorization processes
• Support the productive use of all new or further developments as well as software changes
• 2nd and 3rd Level Support for our stakeholder and CMS users

Alternative tasks:

• Analysis and re-engineering of existing third-party modules (Java/JavaScript) 
• Create/optimize workflows in CMS
• Coordinate changes with the operation team
• Create and conduct tests for new developments

Which technology & skills are important for us?

• Experience in development in the environment of Content Management System (ideally FirstSpirit)
• Good knowledge of HTML, XML, JSP, TypeScript, CSS, JavaScript or Json
• Experience in a modern front-end framework such as Angular or React
• Knowledge of Java
• Good understanding of design and usability

Nice to have: 

• Experience in agile working methods 
• Experience in CI/CD
• Knowledge of Bitbucket 
• Experience in change management tools (HPSM)
• Basic knowledge about Linux and Tomcat
