As a Client-Side Software Engineer, you'll be a part of a game development team, building dynamic UI that integrates real-time data. Working closely with design, back-end, and product teams, you'll ensure a seamless and visually captivating experience for players. This is your chance to contribute to a new generation of games at DraftKings Game Studios.
What you'll do as a Software Engineer
- Develop and maintain games with dynamic UIs that integrate real-time data and interactions.
- Collaborate with design, back-end, and product teams to deliver features and optimize the gaming experience.
- Write and maintain unit tests to ensure code stability and reliability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues to continuously improve game functionality and user experience.
- Work with real-time technologies, creating and integrating custom solutions where needed.
What you'll bring
- At least 2 years of experience in front-end development using TypeScript, React, Redux, HTML, and CSS.
- Optional experience with Three.js or similar technologies.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work independently as part of a fast-growing team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and an eagerness to learn in a collaborative, agile environment.
- Optional experience with writing and maintaining comprehensive unit tests to ensure code quality.
