Frontend Engineer

Job Summary:
Data Society is seeking a Frontend Engineer to join its team! In this role, you’ll support client-facing deliverables while helping to create innovative solutions. The Frontend Developer is responsible for the visual and interactive elements of solutions projects. They apply accessibility and usability standards vigorously while creating.
Responsibilities:

• Lead and/or implement features for internal and solutions projects relating to frontend.
• Aid in research and creation of technical requirements.
• Create training content.
• Attend company, team, and project meetings.
• Communicate regularly with design team.
• Documenting code and processes.
• Testing and debugging.

Skills and Experience Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in a software engineering or related field
• 1-2 years of relevant work experience
• Deep knowledge of
  • API integration
  • React/Vue
  • Java Script
  • Testing and debugging

This position is flexible to be remote anywhere within the USA, though preference will be given to candidates in the metro Washington, DC areas. Salary will be between $90,000 - $110,000 per year. In addition, this position will be eligible for full benefits including Unlimited PTO, Healthcare Insurance, 401k, Metro Transit subsidy, Paid Parental Leave, and Paid Disability – all on Day 1.
