Frontend Engineer (React) - Growth

Job Purpose

Legal Templates is spun out of Taroko.io, a startup incubator based in the heart of Taiwan's thriving capital city, Taipei. Taroko incubates, launches, and operates a growing library of web and mobile applications used by millions of users worldwide.

We are actively seeking a Frontend Engineer (Growth) to play a pivotal role in the ongoing evolution and expansion of our product, with a strong focus on driving growth. Are you an accomplished Engineer eager to seize the opportunity to influence our product's growth trajectory?

In this role, you will be at the forefront of our growth initiatives, harnessing your Full Stack expertise to implement A/B tests and innovative strategies aimed at fueling the product's growth and maximizing its impact.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute code that are directly aligned with growth initiatives, including A/B tests, user engagement enhancements, and conversion rate optimization.
• Seamlessly integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic, with a particular emphasis on performance optimization and user experience improvements aimed at driving growth metrics.
• Producing clean reusable code that conforms to development team standards and also supports data collection and analysis for growth experiments and insights.
• Maintain clear and concise technical documentation to facilitate knowledge sharing and ensure a smooth handover of growth-related initiatives to other team members.

Requirements

• At least 3+ years of experience working with React or other JavaScript frontend frameworks
• Experienced with React state containers (Redux or Flux)
• Experienced with TypeScript
• Experience solving cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them
• Experience writing robust test cases through Unit Test and Snapshots is a must
• Experience working with Ruby on Rails is a plus
• You exhibit a strong understanding of code versioning tools (Git)
• You always test your code, both backend and frontend
• Strong focus on A/B testing methodologies, experience with VWO is a plus
• Ability to read, write and speak fluent English
