Frontend Software Engineer

The Alteryx Marketplace team is hiring! We are building a first-class marketplace to enable our partners and customers the ability to download and distribute extensions of our platform. Our customers already love the Marketplace, and we’ve seen significant traction since it’s launch 9 months ago. Overview:

We are seeking a frontend leaning full-stack engineer to join our US-based engineering team. We want someone with at least 2 years of experience in professional software development who shares our values of ownership, collaboration, and honesty. You will have the opportunity to be the primary owner of the frontend experiences for our Marketplace alongside a small team of senior engineers who can provide significant mentorship. This position is fully remote. 

Responsibilities: 

• Own the frontend experience for our product both internally and externally 

• Engage with inspiring designers and product managers, and collaborate with leading backend engineers to create reliable APIs. 

• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code, following best practices and coding standards. 

• Participates in code reviews for the engineers on your team, ensuring delivery of clean, well-tested, and performant software. 

• Contribute to the entire software development lifecycle, from planning and design to implementation and maintenance. 

• Debug and resolve software defects and issues in a timely manner. 

• Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve skills and stay competitive. 

Qualifications: 

• At least 2yrs experience building large-scale software applications 

• Frontend Development experience in JavaScript

• Knowledge of Typescript, React, and Redux

• Experience in building modern web-based frontends 

• Experience in designing and integrating RESTful APIs 

• Excellent debugging and optimization skills 

• Experience in unit/integration testing 

Preferred Skills:

• Python Development

• Knowledge of GraphQl, Go, RDBMS, and CI/CD 

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in computer science, information technology, or engineering 

Compensation:​

Alteryx is committed to fair, equitable, and transparent compensation. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as your relevant work experience, education, certifications, skills, and geographic location. 

The salary range for this role in Southern California, Colorado, Texas, North Carolina, and Rhode Island is $107,000 - $133,000.

In addition, you may be eligible for other compensation, such as a bonus. Employees may also be eligible for a wide range of other benefits, including medical, retirement, financial, wellness, time off, employee discounts, and others.
