Work-life balance, partner track position 400k +

Healthy, well-balanced practice looking for a full scope physician, 0.8 FTE. 2 year contract with partnership opportunity. Centrally located in Walnut Creek California with deliveries and surgeries at John Muir Medical Center, Walnut Creek. Level I trauma center and Level III Nicu.

Base salary 325k (1.0FTE) with 100K + with in-house and ER coverage.

Ample robotic/surgical block time. The community has excellent support from sub-specialists including MFM, Gyn Onc, Urology and Trauma Surgery. Family planning well supported in clinic and hospital. Five advanced practitioners in office for improved surgical volume and scheduling flexibility.

We are currently a partnership of four physicians, three full scope and one GYN only. Home call approximately 1 weekday and larger call group for weekend coverage 1:6. The post call day is protected and off. Holiday call shared among larger call group. Two hour lunch block for minor surgery, rounding, charting or free time.
