Description and Requirements
Role Value Proposition:
The Prophet Support team sits within the Actuarial IT space. This team interfaces with IT Infrastructure, Application Development, and Actuarial Development teams. Prophet Support is primarily responsible for the Prophet Application and Production Reporting process.
The Full-stack .NET Developer is responsible for ensuring the Prophet production process remains online and available. Prophet support ensures that MetLife can meet its financial reporting obligations. We support 30+ countries across the US, EMEA, LATAM, and Asia. This is an exciting opportunity to grow professionally and personally. You will work with many different teams across the enterprise in the ever-changing world of financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:

• Success in this role requires communication and good interpersonal skills.
• Responsible for Prophet Enterprise and Financial Reporting. You'll collaborate closely with IT Infrastructure, Application Development, and Actuarial Development teams in an environment where every contribution is respected, and every perspective is heard.
• Manage production reporting processes.
• Develop and Maintain automation frameworks.

Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:
Required:

• 5 years of experience with Full-stack .NET development, REST API, Entity framework, C#, and SQL server database.
• Experience with PowerShell scripting.
• Good communication skills.
• Azure DevOps (CI/CD pipelines for supporting build, test, and release processes).

Preferred:

• IBM workloader
• Understanding of Prophet application.
• Suggested 3-4 years of experience in application production support.
• Intermediate knowledge of Windows Servers and Applications
• Work Independently and within a team.
