Full Stack Developer

Job Description

Flexion Inc., a Madison, WI-based IT Consulting and Services firm, is looking for a Full Stack Developer to work on a long-term consulting project. The client for this position is based in Madison, WI.

Requirements:

5+ years of experience Sr. Full Stack (React + Node) Software Development Engineer (at least one dev lead)

- 3+ years of experience with React.js

- 3+ years of experience with Node.js

- 5 + years of experience with JavaScript TypeScript

- 3+ years of experience in a complex environment (ex. AmFam has 33 REST APIs, so it involves wrangling data.

- 5+ years of experience working on scrum teams (they have 8-12 people on the scrum team)

- 3+ years in creating REST web services

- Experience working Agile/SAFe Agile experience (2-week sprints)

- AWS (Ideally Lambda, Dynamo DB, Athena, Cloud Formation, Docker, S3, Fargate, Elastic Beanstalk)

-Must be able to deploy own code (create & maintain CI/CD pipelines) to AWS

Required Skills:

- Strong demonstrated experience in Full Stack JavaScript development

- Knowledge of multiple JavaScript frameworks (Node/Express, React/Redux, Angular) with demonstrated expertise in at least one (preferably React/Redux and Node/Express)

- Demonstrated experience with distributed service architectures

- Experience in deploying new production web applications/server architectures

- Experience in data integration utilizing web services and APIs (e.g., REST, SOAP, JSON to Acord XML) to either exchange information or create integrated reports

- Knowledge of automated testing suites such as Karate and Selenium

- Create CI/CD pipelines to deploy code to AWS
