Essential Job Functions

You will have the unique opportunity to assist in the design, development, and implementation of multiple web applications to support day-to-day business operations while creating technical solutions that improve the scalability, performance, and profits of the company.
  • Plan, develop and implement successful large-scale projects from initial conception to completion.
  • Participate and be an active member of the team by active listening, participating in meaningful collaborations, and positive interactions. Strong interpersonal communication skills are imperative to the success of the department.
  • Maintain good working knowledge of Warn Industries' security, controls, backup, and disaster recovery information to protect WARN's data and systems. You will be accountable for Sarbanes-Oxley compliance in assigned areas.

Required Education and/or Experience:
  • A Bachelor of Science degree in a computer-related field is required, or experience equivalent to a degree.
  • Three or more years doing full-stack web application development using the following languages: Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and SQL.
  • Experience using frameworks such as JSP, MVC, AngularJS, ORM (Object Relational Mapping) is preferred.
  • As well as experience working with load balancers such as NGINX, Reverse Proxying, Java Web containers, preferably Tomcat.
  • Experience with REST and microservices.
  • Experience using Docker, Git, JUnit/TestNG, Bamboo.
  • Familiarity with: Agile, Clean Code, and Design Patterns.
  • Willing to work with functional programming paradigms.
  • Experience with cloud service providers such as AWS and Azure

Nice to Haves:
  • Experience with Redis.
  • Experience with monitoring and analytics services like Datadog.
  • Knowledge of integrating ERP systems with JDE and/or Microsoft CRM is a plus.
  • PHP and .NET experience is a plus.

Required Qualifications, Skills and Abilities:
  • Strong oral and written communication skills. excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills including ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced work environment, while maintaining a calm, rational and respectful demeanor.
  • Ability to create, review, comprehend, interpret, process and evaluate documents written in English.
  • Strong technical troubleshooting, problem-solving, research, organizational and analytical skills, combined with the ability to prioritize tasks to establish and meet deadlines.
  • Strong decision-making skills while maintaining strong attention to detail regarding the organization, planning, workflow, and project prioritization to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and accurately
