Full Stack Developer

Our team is rapidly growing and looking for an experienced Full Stack Developer to contribute to development efforts and join our passionate team of high-impact problem solvers. We enjoy the challenges of human-centered design, security, and scale to create better outcomes for our federal agency partners. We are a remote-first company and work completely in the open source. 

What we are looking for:

• Minimum of 2 years of professional as a full stack developer
• Demonstrated experience working on open-source projects with specific experience delivering public-facing solutions
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and building and maintaining containerized images
• Knowledge and experience building applications using the React library
• Experience with front-end web development using modern techniques and frameworks (e.g., HTML5, CSS3, SASS, Responsive Design, and Bootstrap)
• Experience with functional programming using Scala, as well as the Akka toolkit, Reactive programming model, and Actor based concurrency
• Experience working on a CQRS Event Driven Architecture using PostgreSQL and Cassandra / AWS Keyspaces
• Experience building and deploying scalable applications using containerized applications, Kubernetes, and AWS services architecture

Highly preferred:

• Development experience with Django Rest Framework and/or PostgreSQL
  
• Previous experience with AWS, AWS GovCloud or other cloud platforms
  
• Production Experience with CloudFoundry, Terraform, and/or Cloud Formation
  
• Previous experience with ElasticSearch/ELK, Vagrant, Splunk and/or Beanstalk 
  
• Experience in one of the front-end frameworks: ReactJS, VueJS, Angular (ReactJS preferred) 

Clearance Requirements:

• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
