What You'll Do

• Designs and develops applications with an eye towards simplicity, reliability, manageability, scalability, extensibility, performance and reusability.
• Performing requirement analyses.
• Develop high-quality and detailed designs.
• Identifying risk and conducting mitigation action planning.
• Using coding standards and best practices to ensure quality.
• Perform code reviews and suggest coding practices to team.
• Agile best practices and help team deliver on time.
• Responsible for Story preparation, development of code, writing automated unit and integration test, getting sign-off from manager, deployment, monitoring and maintenance of code.
• Design, implement and launch highly-visible features for our retail platform using Test/Behaviour Driven Development practices and support the operations of the product in production.
• Continuously grow his/her skills and value through pair programming and code reviews.
• Practice relentless automation, continuous integration, continuous delivery and DevOps.
• Works collaboratively with technical and business team members to develop and maintain business solutions following Agile development principles and practices.
• Flexible to be available on call as per project need.
• Should able to work independently.

What You Know

• 6+ years of development experience on developing Microservices using NodeJS 
• Good knowledge about caching engines likes Redis/ Varnish
• Strong DevOps knowledge 
• Good knowledge about build and release tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions
• Good knowledge about Deployment strategies – Canary, Blue/Green 
• Knowledge about SQL/No-SQL DB preferably Cosmos
• Good knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
• Knowledge of any monitoring and logging tools like New Relic, Grafana, Splunk etc.

• Experience with Cloud preferably Azure
• Good knowledge about Application Gateways and Load Balancer
• CDNs, Akamai Tools, Akamai Portal, Akamai Property Configs
• Optimizely Server Side
• Certificate Management & Venafi
• Microsoft VMs & Blob Storage
• Note : writing code using Test Driven Development—Important – without this skill please don’t share resumes.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
