Full Stack Developer - HYBRID possible!

Candidate will be required to provide development of a Java application with a PostgreSQL backend and Tomcat application server. The successful candidate will be developing in AWS cloud environment using cutting edge technology. The developer will work in conjunction with other government and contractor developers to assist in all facets of development and O&M for the application. Support will include, but is not limited to, the gathering, analysis, and development of specifications/requirements provided by the system owner. The developer may be tasked with supporting all aspects of the project to include all phases of life cycle development. The contractor will need to possess strong user interface skills using Angular 2+ application development. Also, they must possess a strong foundation with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science.

This position may have the potential to offer hybrid support, subject to customer approval.

Required Qualifications:

• 8 years of technical experience
• 5 years of experience with Angular version 2 or above
• Experience developing in multiple layers of the software stack (UI, REST, and database)
• Experience with user interface technologies such as JavaScript and/or AJAX
• Experience with developing REST middle-tiers
• Experience with Java, Spring Boot, Spring Data JPA and Spring Security
• Experience with Junit and test-driven development
• Experience with Tomcat
• Experience with PostgreSQL
• Experience with AWS Cloud development
• Experience with software development, analysis, design, implementation and testing
• Demonstrable analytical, conceptual and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication skills
• Active Top Secret Security Clearance
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems or related discipline

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with microservices architecture
• Experience with Atlassian tools (GitLab, JIRA)
• Experience working within agile methodology
