Expert in in Full Stack design technique as well as experience working across large environments with multiple operating systems/infrastructure for large-scale programs (e.g., Expert Engineers) starting to be firm-wide resources working on projects across JPMC
§ Is multi-skilled with expertise across software development lifecycle and toolset
§ May be recognized as a leader in Agile and cultivating teams working in Agile frameworks
§ Sought out as coach for at least one technical skill
§ Strong understanding of techniques such as Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, Test Driven Development, Cloud Development, resiliency, security
§ Stays abreast of cutting edge technologies/trends and uses experience to influence application of those technologies/trends to support the business; may give speeches and outside the firm, writes articles
Roles and Responsibilities:
BS in Computer Science or similar technical degree with 7 to 10 years of experience
• Strong Core Java and Java Web Application development knowledge
• Advanced knowledge of application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines
• Understanding of architecture and design across all system
• Working proficiency in developmental toolsets
• Ability to collaborate with multiple high-performing teams and individuals throughout the firm to accomplish common goals
• Experience building REST and SOAP web services using Java, Spring
• Can write well-abstracted, reusable and efficient code and correctly employ design patterns
• Understanding of software skills such as business analysis, development, maintenance and software improvement
• Experience performing server-side Java programming in a WebSphere/Tomcat environment
• Know the TDD approach of designing micro services and writing JUnit test cases us§ Is multi-skilled with expertise across software development lifecycle and toolset
