Your Role and Responsibilities
IBM Consulting’s Asset Engineering Services is looking for a highly skilled full stack developer to join this dynamic global team to deliver outstanding results for both internal and external clients and IBM Business Partners. You will be working with highly collaborative teams in a dynamic and agile environment.
Our organization’s mission is to create assets (software products) for IBM Consulting and to provide end-to-end software engineering services to our clients that leverage these assets. There a several IBM Consulting assets in play for this role.
You will be responsible for developing new features across multiple products translating UI designs into well functioning front end user facing capabilities as well as interpreting business requirements and developing backend business logic functionality. You will also support our client deliveries and solving client issues and defects that users encounter in our products.

Responsibilities

• Design develop and deploy web applications using ReactJS for the frontend and Python for the backend.
• Create dynamic and responsive user interfaces with VueJS.
• Support maintain and troubleshoot existing applications to ensure optimal performance and user experience.
• Engage in full software development lifecycle including planning coding testing and deployment. Maintain high-quality coding standards.
• Remain updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to continually improve skills and knowledge.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Strong experience with ReactJS for Frontend development.
• Proficiency in Python for Backend development.
• Familiarity with VueJS for building user interfaces.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Experience with Node.JS for server-side development.
• Understanding of Large Learning Models (LLM) and their applications.
• Familiarity with SQL databases for data management.

Other Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role.
• Strong understanding of web development principles and best practices.
• Experience working independently in a remote or office environment. Self- discipline is a must.
• The developer will also be supporting multiple applications simultaneously so he/she must be able switch between tasks quickly.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically in a fast-paced setting.
• Effective communication skills and willingness to collaborate with non-technical stakeholders.
• Must be willing to work at least morning hours on the US East Coast. Working full US hours is preferred.
