The Opportunity
Paperless is looking for a full-stack engineer to join our core product team, where we are building a web platform to automate the estimating and quoting process for manufacturers. Within the core product team, you will join a smaller feature team, made up of designers, product managers, and engineers, and focused on a specific user goal. On a daily basis, you will collaborate with members of your team to drive end-to-end enhancements to our core product.
This position requires activities that are subject to US Export Control Laws and require US Citizenship or Green Card Holder.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain flexible and scalable solutions
- Build APIs to securely and efficiently access data for internal and external use
- Build dynamic features and components in React
- Collaborate with other talented engineers, designers, and product managers to meet product goals
- Continually make improvements to the quality of our core product
- Understand our customers, and help us create a product that makes their lives better
- As part of the Paperless Parts team, further, the company-wide DEI & social impact initiativesÂ
- Travel to job shops as need, COVID-19 vaccination and booster required
Knowledge, skill, and abilities
- 2+ years experience writing code in an object-oriented language
- Experience with a modern web application stack, e.g. Python/Django, Node/Express, Java/Spring
- Experience creating components in a single-page application framework, e.g. React, Vue, or Angular
- Experience using Cloud Providers such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Experience building applications with Docker
- Solid understanding of SQL and relational databases
- Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing
- Experience with API design, development, and documentation

Encinitas Office: Our California office is our newest office which seats about 15 hardworking BDRs and Account Executives individuals. The office has an open floor plan with several conference rooms to encourage collaboration with your colleagues in California and TV's to connect with those sitting in Boston or remotely. The office comes stocked with snacks, coffee and regularly catered meals. The office is walking distance from Downtown Encinitas, the Coaster train stop, and tons of restaurants, bars, and activities on the 101.
