At Spotify Advertising, our part of that mission is to build the next-generation advertising platform to scale the freemium experience for hundreds of millions of fans and tens of thousands of advertisers.

We are looking for a Software Engineer to join the Spotify Ads Manager reporting team. Spotify’s self-serve ads manager allows advertisers to build audio or video Ad campaigns in minutes. What You'll Do

• Design, implement and ship features using Java, Typescript and other technologies for the Spotify Ads Manager.
• Partner with product managers, data engineers, and business partners to build and scale microservices powering our AdTech Platform.
• Collaborate with teams and disciplines across the world to deliver high-quality, high-impact customer-facing products and features.
• Perform code reviews, document and take on complex bug fixes across services and multiple levels of the stack.
• Improve operational excellence and share your knowledge across the company to promote best practices.

Who You Are

• You are a full-stack engineer with hands-on experience in Java and Typescript to implement end-to-end features that handle a high volume of data.
• You have experience working directly with stakeholders and Product leadership to understand, document and develop APIs and systems to meet user requirements.
• You care about observability & reliability and have experience with engineering best practices and testing automation to build quality into software and systems.
• You are open-minded about changes and embrace them with an optimistic attitude.
• You are comfortable working in an agile environment and challenging yourself and your team to improve their ways of working

Where You'll Be

• For this role, the location should be in Australia in a region where we have a work location. (Sydney or Melbourne)
• We operate within the Australian Eastern Standard Time zone for collaboration with our bandmates and often need to communicate with our other team members in the US PST and ET timezone.
