Overview:

We are hiring a Full Stack Engineer to join our team.  Our ideal Full Stack Engineer has experience working on SaaS applications with TypeScript / React on the front end and Python / Django on the backend or similar stacks or frameworks. In this role, you will join one of our agile sprint based product engineering teams working to extend our existing platform, writing new features, creating tests, patching bugs, and making technical improvements to our application.  You will work closely with other members of the product and engineering teams to provide feedback and guidance to improve the overall team's operations and effectiveness.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with product and engineering teams building new features through the full development lifecycle from providing feedback on design, planning, grooming, estimation, execution and monitoring of new feature releases
• Develop new features on the front end with React and Typescript
• Develop new features on the back end with Django and Python
• Provide support and maintenance or deliver enhancements to existing feature sets
• Provide code review and constructive feedback to other team members
• Actively participate as a member of our product engineering team using agile development in sprint planning, standups, grooming, and retros
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and SOC2 and applicable accessibility standards

Requirements:

• BA/BS in computer science, software engineering, or equivalent practical experience
• 3+ years of professional software development experience 
• Strong software development core skill set (algorithms, data structures, design patterns, and best practices)
• Experience with front-end development: TypeScript, React, Redux (or similar stack)
• Experience with front-end tooling: Webpack, Babel (or similar)
• Experience with back-end development: Python, Django (or similar stack)
• Experience with REST API development: Django Rest Framework (or similar)
• Experience with unit testing and unit test frameworks
• Experience with relational databases: MySQL (or similar)
• Experience with continuous integration: Jenkins (or similar)
• Experience with project management software: Jira, Confluence (or similar)
• Experience with cloud monitoring software: Sumo Logic (or similar)
• Experience working with containers: Docker
• Experience working with version control: Github, Git
• Experience designing and building secure, scalable, and highly available systems
• Experience working on agile software development teams
