Summary:

In this role, you will be responsible for developing infrastructure for data collection, storage and web based user interfaces. Responsibilities will include developing and optimizing databases, creating web APIs and web pages for user interaction including user management, multi-dimensional data display.

Responsibilities:

• Develop effective, defect-free source code that meets business requirements and standards.
• Participate in the development of unit test cases and complex test scripts, utilizing tools such as Mocha and Jasmine.
• Work with Git/GitHub, Git Workflows and automate deployments.
• Take ownership of impact analysis and production support documentation.
• Complete additional project work or tasks as assigned.

Required Experience:

• 5+ years of full-stack software engineering experience.
• At least 1 year of experience working on a product with thousands of users or large-scale data processing.
• Experience with Azure/AWS cloud environments.
• Strong knowledge of back-end technologies, including Node.js, Python, SQL Server, and Redis.
• Experience with various databases (SQL and NoSQL).
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

• • Experience working on IoT solutions, integrating devices, and handling data from IoT platforms.
  • Exposure to sensor data or edge computing for IoT.
  • Prior experience with DevOps tools & technologies. Including but not limited to:
  • Build (ex. GitHub actions, circleci, Jenkins, Docker, Liquibase)
  • Deploy (ex. Terraform, DockerHub, Nexus)
  • Orchestration (ex. Kubernetes)
  • Monitoring (ex. logstash, elasticsearch, Kibana, splunk, New Relic)
  • Experience creating and automating large scale load, stress, regression, and/or integration tests for cloud systems

The salary range for this role is $120,000 to $250,000, plus bonuses and Pre-IPO equity. It is uncommon for anyone to be hired at or near the top range for their role, and final compensation is based on the facts and circumstances of the case. The compensation range is broad because it reflects many factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience, and training directly relevant to the role, business and company needs, cultural fit, level, and location.
