Full Stack Engineer (Contract)

We are looking for a skilled Full Stack Engineer with a strong emphasis on frontend development to join one of our clients. This role is ideal for engineers who excel in building user interfaces but also possess a solid understanding of backend systems. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality web applications that are scalable, responsive, and easy to maintain. While your primary focus will be on frontend technologies, you should have experience working with backend languages and frameworks to help bridge the gap between the two.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain modern web applications using frontend technologies such as React.js, Vue.js, or similar frameworks.
• Work closely with UI/UX designers to transform design prototypes into pixel-perfect, interactive user interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Integrate frontend components with RESTful APIs, internal services, and third-party tools.
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility, responsive design, and overall web performance optimization.
• Lead the frontend development while collaborating with backend engineers to ensure seamless integration and consistent data flow.
• Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code with a focus on code quality, performance, and security.
• Conduct code reviews, provide mentorship, and foster a culture of continuous improvement and learning within the team.
• Troubleshoot and resolve bugs to improve application stability and performance.
• Collaborate in an agile team environment, participating in sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives.
• Maintain awareness of the latest industry trends, best practices, and technologies to drive continuous improvement.

Experience and Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience building and maintaining user interfaces using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and modern frontend frameworks like React.js or Vue.js.
• Experience with backend development in any major programming language (e.g., Node.js, Python, Ruby, Java, or Django).
• Solid understanding of RESTful API integration and asynchronous data handling (e.g., Axios, Fetch API).
• Knowledge of state management libraries such as Redux or Vuex.
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
• Strong collaboration skills with designers and backend developers to ensure seamless project execution.
• Familiarity with automated frontend testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Cypress).
• Experience working with cloud platforms or services (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is a plus.
• Knowledge of backend development patterns such as authentication, authorization, and database interaction is advantageous.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a remote team using asynchronous communication tools.

Nice to Have:

• Familiarity with mobile app development (e.g., React Native).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment.
• Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker) is a plus.
