Full Stack Engineer -Contract/Remote

As a Full Stack Engineer, you will work on the venture project (GORIL) which is incubated at Moon Creative Lab. You'll help us develop the GORIL webapp, which helps Japanese people improve their pronunciation of English by using animations generated by audio analysis to visualize speech.

You will need to implement features and make improvements to UX, including fluid animations and audio/video playback to visualize user voice, user login/management, managing user data on a database, and managing user paid subscriptions.

This is a contract role, with an initial duration of 6 months, pay range: $30/hr-$60/hr. The contract may be renewed depending on performance.

• Web Development
• Frontend experience with JavaScript, preferably React/Next.js/Tailwind
• Backend experience including a database and user management, preferably Node.js, PostgreSQL
• Communication
• Fluency in English
• Availability
• Can work remotely based in US, must maintain core hours to communicate with team in Japan

• Familiarity with Japanese language (basic reading, conversation)
• Knowledge of language learning and pronunciation
• Experience with animations, game development, audio processing, speech recognition
