Full Stack Engineer II

As a Full Stack Software Engineer II at 6RS, you will design and build scalable programs to simulate movement and interactions between autonomous robots and people working with busy, rapidly changing environments. This is an opportunity to join 6RS as our customers implement dozens of autonomous robots to optimize workflows in warehouses of the future. In this new position, you will:  

• Build new models to simulate human-robot interactions in fast-paced environments
• Design and develop new versions of simulators to optimize sensing and obstacle avoidance 
• Enhance existing simulators to represent larger groups of autonomous robots 
• Guide a team of software engineers to ensure quality as we scale
• Solve complex problems with innovative perspectives

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience with JAVA, JavaScript and/or C++ using Object Oriented Design Principles.
• Practical experience developing and debugging asynchronous patterns.
• Ability to understand large cloud-based systems and how individual pieces fit together
• Commitment to creating a robust, resilient and performant software system.
• Curiosity to learn different software technologies. e.g. Kubernetes, Microservices Architecture, Databases, ROS, React
