Full-stack engineer in FemTech startup

You will work very closely with our Product Management and Founder team to enhance and grow our existing technical platform. You will play an integral role in shaping our product, culture, technology, ways of working and future team. You will develop end-to-end product solutions for our customer-facing experiences as well as internal tools.

Aura seeks a Full Stack developer, with 5-7 years of software development experience, who can lead the development process through developing, testing and deploying improvements to our existing Aura platform.

You are ambitious and are looking for an advancement opportunity in an early-stage startup. You are able to work with Product and Designs teams and enjoy contributing to the product’s roadmap, assessing complexity and raising technical needs.

You have experience in the end-to-end software development lifecycle and in a range of technologies, from backend infrastructure such as AWS, relational database systems and APIs development. You also have experience in web-based technologies such as flutter and wordpress, and in-depth knowledge of core programming languages such as python.

This position is suited to a hands-on senior developer who knows how to grow a solid tech team and to choose technology. Ideally, the candidate will come from the Health-Tech industry.

Key duties

• The hire will join the founding team of Aura and be responsible for supporting, developing, testing and releasing our current mobile app and ecosystem based on client needs and business strategy
• At start the position will be a development hands on position with the prospect of creating and building a development team.
• Support the Product Roadmap and develop the technical strategy that will make the product vision a reality
• Make architecture decisions to ensure a strong, stable, and scalable product
• Work with the Senior Management team and support shaping the product vision and finding the best ways to make it happen, turning it into a working solution
• Establishing a test automation framework

Requirements

• Hands-on experience as a Senior Full-Stack developer (including Dev Ops)
• Previous tech startup experience and strong track record
• Experience with some of the technologies of our stack and the capability to learn new modern programming languages and tech
• Experience enabling Product related decisions and supporting the realisation of the company's product roadmap
• Data driven in your decision making
• Strong understanding and awareness of data security and compliance
• Experience in unit, integration and regression testing
• Experience working with Agile methodologies
• Experience managing remote teams and working with remote peers/teams
• Exceptional interpersonal and collaboration skills
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to all levels, and to collaborate with a range of stakeholders
• Strategy focus and ability to future-proof innovations
• Ideally experience working on AI / ML related projects
