Full Stack Engineer (Remote)

As an integral part of the program, the Full Stack Engineer will build products across the stack and have a firm understanding of web frameworks, APIs, databases, and multiple back end languages; a solid understanding of computer science fundamentals, including algorithms; can get up to speed quickly on and contribute to new software development projects; and enjoys the challenge of solving complex problems in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop, create, and modify general computer applications software or specialized utility programs.
• Analyze user needs and develop software solutions.
• Design software or customize software for client use with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency.
• May analyze and design databases within an application area, working individually or coordinating database development as part of a team.
• May supervise computer programmers.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Full-Stack Engineer
• Software development experience using Java, Javascript, Python, Ruby, Ruby on Rails, Swift or related languages
• Knowledge of front-end languages and libraries (e.g. JavaScript)
• Knowledge of back-end languages (e.g. Java, Python) and JavaScript frameworks (e.g. React)
• Familiarity with databases (e.g. MySQL, PostgreSQL), web servers (e.g. Apache, Jenkins) and UI/UX design
• Must be able to get up-to-speed quickly on new projects and technologies
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

• Experience with AWS
• Experience with Docker/Kubernetes
