Full Stack Engineering Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as an interface with sub-groups within a business unit and/or multiple GIS domains for the purpose of purpose of business and Business intelligence, big data and AI/ML technology strategy alignment, solution discovery, service management, project portfolio mgmt.
• Architect and design complex Business intelligence, bid data and AI/ML solutions to address cross functional needs, and convert design to functional and technical specifications. Oversee software application and platform development, prepare and execute testing (unit, integration, performance, acceptance) and data conversions. Identifies and recommend industry BKM's for integrated solution design and standards.
• Provides and/or oversees BI, Big Data and AI/ML application and platform support services to meet customer performance, availability, service level agreements and customer satisfaction targets. Oversees monitoring of specific IT systems or set of systems and tuning of such systems for availability and performance. Drives completion of root cause analysis and resolution of outages or incident trends coordinating with infrastructure and technical teams, support providers and application vendors. Drives implementation of corrective and preventative actions. Evaluates/recommends/plans lifecycle for patches, point releases, and major upgrades.
• Delivers project and support services within area of responsibility within allocated budget. Develops project budgets. Develops understanding cost model and cost drivers for service(s) and recommend service area budgets and cost optimization activities. May be responsible for timely renewal of maintenance and subscription contracts.
• Ensures adherence to GIS project management, software application development, testing, service management, change management, RCA and other relevant processes, standards, governance and controls. May manage execution of sox controls and testing, and support internal and external audits.
• Plan and manage medium to large scale Business intelligence, Big Data or AI/ML application or platform projects to ensure effective and efficient execution in line with guardrails of scope, timeline, budget and quality. May serve as a Business Intelligence, Big Data, or AI/ML team lead on a large, complex, cross functional project.
• Oversees/manages contingent workers performing Business Intelligence, Big Data and AI/ML services across multiple projects or service areas. Responsible for the selection, onboarding and offboarding of contingent workers in a timely manner. Manges contingent worker project/task assignments and ensure work product quality. Approves contingent worker timesheets/costs.

• A bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field
• 5+ years of hands-on development experience with technologies such as React, D3, Python, Angular, Express, Node and 3.JS with strong emphasis on Semiconductor Manufacturing
• Several years of experience in requirement analysis, software programming, CI/CD deployment techniques, database administration techniques including supervisory experience are required
• Previous experience coding, testing, and documenting new or modified data systems
• Previous experience managing a team of 5 or more members
• In-depth working knowledge of Kubernetes/Container frameworks such as Redhat Openshift, Rancher and Open-Source platforms
• Proven experience building applications using Microservices Architecture and deployment in OpenShift, AWS & Azure
• Strong knowledge and experience building CI/CD pipelines using Gitlab, Jenkins, and more
• Strong experience working with RESTful & GraphQL API frameworks
