About Product & Technology at iCapital:  

Our Product & Technology department includes multiple teams dedicated to creating an industry-leading platform that manages the full life cycle of alternative investments. The Platform Engineering team delivers enterprise-grade software and infrastructure solutions that meet the needs of the business, our clients, and is built with quality, and information and data integrity. 

As part of the Product and Technology team, some areas of responsibility may include: 

• Working with internal stakeholders to understand and support the product roadmap as well as build on requirements. 
• Gaining an understanding of the structured investments, annuities, and alternative investment landscape to build a robust and intelligent marketplace. 
• Utilizing modern programming languages to scale the platform and integrate new products.
• Collaborating with other internal teams such as product management, project management, quantitative, and UX. 

The ideal candidate is... 

• Familiar with web application development, Unix/Linux environments, distributed and parallel systems, data structures, machine learning, information retrieval, natural language processing, networking, developing large software systems, or security software development 
• Experienced in a modern front end or backend programming language such as JavaScript (Node), Python, Java, C++, Ruby on Rails, or Scala with an interest in full stack development 
• Highly inquisitive, collaborative, and a creative problem solver
• Possesses foundational knowledge of and/or genuine interest in the financial markets
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Adaptable to take on new responsibilities and be detail oriented
• Technologically savvy and proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
• A rising junior or senior in a U.S. college/university bachelor’s degree program in computer science (or related major)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Authorized to work in the United States*
