Full Stack Java Developer

This role is for a growing software company based in Canada.

They provide world-class software solutions for Budgeting Forecasting Reporting Business Intelligence and Sales Performance Management.  With the majority of their clients being Fortune 1000 companies.

Key things to note:

• 100% remote folks applying must be eligible to work in Canada

• 3 month contract to start (that may get extended)

• Start Date: mid October 2024

• Rate: $70-80/hr

• Time zone for this project: EST/Toronto

Who You Are

• 3-5 years of hands-on experience developing in Java/J2EE (Java 8+) and knowledge of Object Oriented design concepts and design patterns

• Ideally have worked in the SaaS space (B2B B2C)

• Independent willing to learn strong technical and business aptitude

• Client-focused strong communication

• Based in Canada and authorized to work there

What you will be doing

• We're a MongoDB partner and we're working on software implementation projects with them.

• Full stack software development that leans on the back-end (Java 8+/Spring Boot) it's ideal if you have some Javascript/Typescript experience

Skills Required

• 3+ years experience with Java 8+ and Spring Boot framework

• Experience in HTML5 CSS3 and modern JavaScript libraries (e.g. React Node Typescript)

• Experience with Web service technologies such as REST JSON

• Knowledge of SQL

• Exposure to GenAI and LLM’s is a nice to have

• Knowledge of Test Driven Development or Domain Driven Development

• Consulting Experience is a plus
