Essential Job Functions

  • 8+ experience with Java overall
  • 5+ years' experience as Full Stack developer
  • 5+ years' experience with Angular 8+ with Node JS and Java experience
  • 5+ years' experience with Spring Boot Application REST services
  • 5+ years' microservices development
  • 3+ Years' experience with cloud-based technologies including Microsoft Azure and/or IBM Cloud
  • Experience in DevOps Toolchain methodologies, including TDD (test driven development), Continuous Integration, and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD), Testing Tools, such as Splunk, Dynatrace, LISA, and SOAP UI
  • Experience in Docker images and Kubernetes preferred
  • Conduct development activities according to team pairing methods of Test-Driven Development (TDD)
  • Experience with Agile methodology and Scrum team
  • Java SE, Java EE, or Spring Object Oriented design principles
  • Java/Java EE design patterns, SOA principles and patterns, EAI patterns, and UML
  • Databases and Frame works including experience with Azure SLQ, Hibernate, and NoSQL Diagnostics
  • Experience in DevOps Toolchain methodologies, including TDD (test driven development), Continuous Integration, and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD)
  • Well versed in application design, development, automated testing and delivery in an agile environment
  • Strong understanding of PCI, SOX, PII, and security processes and standards
  • Familiarity with software configuration management/build processes
  • Ability to document the existing environment and develop the strategy and tasks to prepare for changes to the design, describing the technical functions, as well as the business functions involved
  • Ability to generate technical roadmaps
  • Ability to train and mentor team members
  • Ability to accurately investigate and document the details of the current and future system
  • Excellent analytical and technical problem-solving skills Experience working with Agile methodologies and tools
  • Demonstrated initiative, flexibility, and ability to adapt to changing priorities and work environments

Basic Qualifications

  • Education & Prior Job Experience Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training
  • 8+ years of experience delivering SDLC solutions using ITIL / Agile / XP, or similar methodologies
  • 3+ years of experience providing technical leadership Airline industry experience, including Sabre, business processes, and supporting technologies

  • Collaborate with customers and business teams to transform business requirements into functioning software Work with business, architect, infrastructure, security, and other corporate teams to provide end to end solution and support for steady-state systems
  • Combine conceptual understanding with broad applied experience and provides seasoned technical expertise, high-level analytical, interpretative, evaluative, and/or constructive advice
  • Evaluate requirements and enhancements requests, and propose solutions with careful consideration of cost, impact, standards, and compatibility to with other systems
  • Assist in the collection and documentation of user's requirements, development of user stories, estimates, testing strategies, and work plans
  • Prepare, consolidate, and generate release notes that are audience appropriate Apply advanced level understanding of current and future technology architecture and integrate this knowledge into design, problem solving, planning, and strategic technical roadmaps
  • Prepare reports, manuals, and other documentation on the status, operation, and maintenance of software
  • Use critical thinking to frame complex issues/problems, develop multiple creative solution options, perform tradeoff analysis, identify impact of various alternative solutions and synthesize data to arrive at a recommended approach in support of making decisions and taking action
  • Perform thorough analysis and generate root-cause-analysis for any production incident
  • Maintain and enhance existing enterprise services, applications, and platforms using domain driven design and test-driven development
  • Troubleshoot and debug complex issues; identifies and implements solution
