Full-Stack PowerBI Developer

- This role is only available for W2 or individual contracts. Please no C2C.

- On-site 3-4 months, then fully remote. Onsite work performance in Address: 1 Chase Plaza #41 NYC NY 10005 (Downtown NYC, NY)

- This person will build pipelines by pulling data from Databricks, use Python to analyze/data model, and then build complex reports in PowerBI. This is a PowerBI Developer, with strong Python skills

Summary:

We are looking for multiple Full-Stack PowerBI developers to assist a large Fortune 500 insurance company with the development and integration of custom reporting services. This position will support pulling data/development of pipelines from Databricks, running analysis/modeling using Python, and building complex reporting within PowerBI.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of IT Industry experience
• Insurance experience is preferred.
• Min 6 years experience working with Power Bi, Python, and Azure Data Bricks.
• Min 6 + years of Strong programming skills in Python for building automation and data extraction, strong exposure to data integration with third-party tools and frameworks such as Flask, Django and FastAPI.
• Back End Skills: Python, Django/Flask/FastAPI, NumPy, pandas and Relational Database
• 5+ years of Strong experience designing, implementing, and integrating enterprise-level highly effective PowerBI applications and Power Platform solutions.
• 5+ years of experience engineering, designing, and integrating organization-wide controls/settings for Power BI and Power Platform.
• Very strong experience working with SQL for data modeling/data extraction and transformation.
• Very strong experience with Power BI and DAX for data visualization and analysis.
• Very strong experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and Azure Synapse.
• Experience deploying Power Platform Center of Excellence (CoE) and ALM accelerator.
• Strong experience using various scripting languages such as M, Power FX, and Powershell.
• Develop, implement, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to present data from Python in various views, tailored to the needs of different stakeholders.
