About The Job

We are looking for a proactive Full Stack QA Engineer to join our backend project team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a growing product in the fintech industry, working closely with our development team to ensure high quality and reliability of the backend systems. This role requires an engineer who is enthusiastic, detail-oriented, and capable of both manual and automated testing. Initially, around 70% of the testing will be manual, but our company is committed to fully automating our project in the future.

Responsibilities

•  Develop and execute test plans for backend services.
• Perform API testing to ensure integration stability.
• Use tools like Postman for REST API testing.
• Set up and maintain test automation scripts.
• Write clear and concise test cases and report results to the team.
• Work proactively to identify areas for improvement.

Manual Testing Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in QA/testing roles, including experience with manual testing.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and SQL.
• Experience with RabbitMQ is highly desirable, but not mandatory.
• Experience in the fintech industry is a plus.
• Ability to create and execute detailed test cases for backend services.

Automation Testing Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in backend test automation.
• Strong experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, REST).
• Basic knowledge of Java (Java 11 or higher).
• Familiarity with software life cycles, from gathering requirements to production deployment.
• Databases: PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
• Experience with tools like Retrofit 2, Gradle, JUnit5, Jenkins, and GitLab.
• RabbitMQ experience.
• Performance testing with Gatling.
• Selenide experience.
• Experience with IntelliJ IDEA.
